Amelia is a writer and teacher from southwestern Kentucky. She received her MFA in Nonfiction Writing from the University of Iowa, and now lives in New York.

As a writer and researcher, she’s drawn to stories that defy discreet eras of history: missing archives, found objects, unclaimed remains.
